Get Back | Tomorrow Never Knows

Note To Self:

When you get that time machine running, give John and Paul a ring and inform them that "more" and "know" don't actually RHYME. (And leave off with the fucking dirty looks, Lennon, mispronouncing one of 'em doesn't make it right.)

While you're at it, you might wanna tell Brian Wilson the same thing about "small" and "doll."

Geniuses. Pfftt.

Hahaha! I always get pissed about the same sort of stuff. I HATE in 'I've just seen a face' when paul rhymes 'her' and 'aware'. WTF?

Oh, yeah! That's a good one, too!

Responding to a back-post, hope you don't mind...
Thanks for adding me.

Hehee you sound like my Tom Lehrer. Mis-rhyming is one of his pet peeves! He satirized it often, as in one song Stephy likes, "Poisoning Pigeons In The Park" ~ where he matches "try an' hide" with "cyanide", and "quickening" with "strychnine." Or ~ my all-time fave pairing, in "The Elements" ~ "Harvard" and "discovered" ~ delivered in an exaggerated parody of a Boston accent. (dis-car-var'd)

I'm often mocking Stephy about the awful rhyming in the so-called "music" she turns the car radio to and punishes me with. http://www.wgrd.com/playlist/

If you want any Tom Lehrer tracks from me, just ask. I got 'em.
And, well, you know Lennon. Just following in the footsteps of his heroes, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, et al. Lots of "artistic license," but mostly I-don't-give-a-damn.
